Answer: The Revolution of 1857 proved that the British can not continue the rule of India without
Significant changes in Indian culture and their approach towards local princes

The revolution changed the basic purpose and the implementation of British policies. These changes can be discussed.

1-Transfer of Administration to the British Crown: -

- The rule was terminated by the East India Company.

- Taj rejected the policy of extension and expansion.

- In particular, the states were given autonomy with the acceptance of paramountcy.

2- Change in military administration: -

- High rank dominates on European authorities.

- Breaking the unity of Indian soldiers: Construction of martial and non-martial class.

- Increasing military spending: More facilities to soldiers.

3- Divide and rule policy: -

- Supporting the landlords: Restoring their land rights to ensure their loyalty.

- Promoting enmity: caste versus race; Hindu versus Muslim; Landowners versus farmers etc.

-The policy culminated in different electoral societies.

4- Change in the rule of India: -

- In the process of making policy, Indians started incorporating: Indian Council Act, 1861.

British policies were strongly influenced by the rebellion of 1857. These policy changes have ensured the existence of colonial rule for more than 100 years.

जवाब- 1857 की क्रांति ने साबित कर दिया कि अंग्रेज बिना भारत के शासन जारी नहीं रख सकते

भारतीय संस्कृति और स्थानीय प्रधानों के प्रति उनके दृष्टिकोण में महत्वपूर्ण परिवर्तन।

क्रांति ने मूल उद्देश्य और ब्रिटिश नीतियों के कार्यान्वयन का तरीका बदल दिया। इन परिवर्तनों पर चर्चा की जा सकती है।

1-ब्रिटिश ताज को प्रशासन का हस्तांतरण: -

- ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी द्वारा नियम को समाप्त कर दिया गया।

- ताज ने एनेक्सेशन और विस्तार की नीति को खारिज कर दिया।

-विशेष रूप से राज्यों को सर्वोपरि की स्वीकृति के साथ स्वायत्तता दी गई थी।

2- सैन्य प्रशासन में बदलाव: -

- यूरोपीय अधिकारियों पर उच्च रैंक हावी है।

- भारतीय सैनिकों की एकता को तोड़ना: मार्शल और गैर-मार्शल वर्ग का निर्माण।

- सैन्य खर्च में वृद्धि: सैनिकों को अधिक सुविधाएं।

3- फूट डालो और राज करो की नीति: -

- जमींदारों को समर्थन: उनकी वफादारी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए उनके भूमि अधिकारों को बहाल किया।

- दुश्मनी को बढ़ावा देना: जाति बनाम जाति; हिंदू बनाम मुसलमान; भूस्वामी बनाम किसान आदि।

-इस नीति का समापन अलग निर्वाचक मंडलों में हुआ।

4- भारत के शासन में परिवर्तन: -

- नीति बनाने की प्रक्रिया में भारतीयों को शामिल करना शुरू किया: भारतीय परिषद अधिनियम, 1861।

- सामाजिक और धार्मिक मामलों में गैर-हस्तक्षेप: सुधार धार्मिक के लिए एक प्रमुख कारण थे
